2024-2025 Beginning Band Information

Band directors will be visiting DEN & McGill the week of 4/29-5/2 to recruit and pass out applications!

Applications for 6th Grade Beginning Band are Due to 5th Grade Teachers by 5/16!

Applications for 7th & 8th Grade Beginning Band are due to Band Directors by 5/16!
-
An informational meeting for all 2024-2025 beginning band members will be held Tuesday 5/21 at 6:30PM, at the WPMS Band Room (enter through back of building Lyons Ave. entrance).

Attendance of a parent/guardian at the info meeting is mandatory for participation in beginning band.

If a parent or guardian cannot attend the info meeting, they must email the band directors directly.

2023-2024 SCHEDULE

***Rehearsals, Sectionals, and Performances are mandatory for all students. These events are a requirement for participation in band, and are highlighted. Students & Families should look at the calendar carefully to avoid conflicts and plan accordingly.

Weekly Middle School Advanced Band Sectionals:
Tuesdays 3:45PM - 4:45PM
***Late Buses to Ruth, McGill, and other areas will be provided, as-needed.***
